Which city in the world has the most nature? More importantly, which city’s residents are most engaged in that nature? Of course, the answer is Denver, but we need your help to prove it! Join the 2024 City Nature Challenge, and compete against over 250 cities around the world to see who can document the most wild nature!
What is a BioBlitz?
A BioBlitz is a community science effort to find, identify and record as many species of plants and animals as possible in a specific location and time period. On April 28 we invite YOU to help us record species along the High Line Canal. No prior experience is necessary, but is welcome. We will begin our BioBlitz with a half-hour presentation about the City Nature Challenge and how to use smartphone apps to identify and record wildlife species. Then we will head out onto the Canal to look for wild plants and animals!
